Microsoft Excel 'Quick Tip'

Change Excel's Default Font

If you're not happy with the default font that Excel uses, change it. It's easy.
  1. First click on the Tools menu and select Options...
  2. Click on the General tab.
  3. From the 'Standard font' drop-down list, select a font.
  4. You can also select a different Size.
  5. Click OK.
This new setting will not take effect until Excel is restarted. After that, every new workbook and worksheet will use the new font and size.
